Evangelos Stamos
Ph.D. Candidate in Precision Medicine & Diagnostics
Karolinska Istitutet
I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Karolinska Institutet working on Imaging the spatial risk of atherosclerosis and more specific focused on Understanding regional stability through data-driven multidimensional analysis, advised by Asst. Prof. David Marlevi, co-advised by Prof. Ulf Hedin and Assoc. Prof. Ljubica Matic in the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery. I’m also a member of SciLifeLab and DDLS Research school.
I hold an M.Sc. in Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine at the National Technical University of Athens, focusing on Deep Learning and Cardiovascular Biomechanics. My M.Sc. thesis, advised by Prof. Konstantina Nikita explored the development of advanced deep multimodal fusion frameworks for precise risk stratification of carotid atheromatous plaques. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate studies in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Thessaly, under the supervision of Prof. Vassilis Plagianakos, where I conducted research on Word2Vec.
I’m open to research collaborations, industry partnerships, and discussions about research. Feel free to reach out through any of the included channels at the bottom of this page.
