Master's thesis defense.

Today I successfully defended my master’s thesis at the National Technical University of Athens, marking the completion of my MSc in Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine.
My thesis, titled “Deep multimodal fusion of image and non-image data in identification of high-risk carotid atheromatous plaque,” investigated how the integration of carotid ultrasound imaging with clinical, biochemical, and protein biomarkers data can improve the identification of vulnerable plaques associated with stroke risk. The work combined engineering principles, signal processing, and data-driven analysis, with an emphasis on model architectures and clinical relevance.
